Ari Firoozabadi is the Managing Principal of Red Ace Capital Management. In addition to overseeing the strategic direction at Greysteel, a middle market focused real estate investment banking firm founded in 2012, Ari drives the investment philosophy of Red Ace, leads the investment committee, and is the lead investor in all Red Ace investments.
Recognized nationally as an authority on private capital and middle market real estate and finance, Ari’s acclaim includes acknowledgements from Real Estate Forum 50 Under 40, Washington Business Journal’s 40 Under 40, and ALM’s “Best Bosses in Commercial Real Estate” and “Leading Influencers in the Multifamily Industry”.
Ari graduated from George Mason University with a B.S. in Finance and Marketing, and holds membership positions in NMHC, ICSC, and YPO. He is actively philanthropic, supporting numerous charities across the US.
Doug Banerjee is a Principal and Managing Partner at Red Ace Capital Management Opportunity Fund LP. He has a strong background in the real estate industry, with a career that includes over $1.2 Billion in multifamily transactions as a deal maker and principal investor. Doug has consistently been recognized for his achievements, receiving industry recognition as Real Estate Forum 50 under 40 in 2019 and a 5x Power Broker by D CEO Magazine.
With over 15 years of multifamily investment experience, Doug plays a crucial role in Red Ace Capital Opportunity Fund LP. He serves on the investment and management committees of the company. Prior to his career in real estate, Doug worked as a consultant for two renowned consulting firms, Accenture and Deloitte.
In addition to his professional achievements, Doug is Greysteel’s licensed broker of record in Texas (a top 20 US property advisor), and holds a CCIM designation. He graduated from Virginia Tech with a Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering. Doug is also actively involved in supporting various charitable organizations, including the American Cancer Society, Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, and the David Nicklas Organ Donor Awareness Foundation.
As the Chief Financial Officer for Red Ace Capital Management, David Fried assumes a pivotal role in steering strategic financial initiatives, overseeing transaction management, and managing the accounting aspects that underpin the entire Red Ace business platform. With a professional foundation established as an auditor at PwC, David has cultivated over 17 years of comprehensive accounting and finance expertise within the dynamic realm of asset management.
A distinguished graduate of the University of Maryland, College Park, he holds a B.S. in Accounting and holds an active CPA license in both Maryland and New York. Beyond his professional pursuits, David enjoys quality time with his family and watching the Baltimore Orioles and Ravens during his leisure hours.
Austin Magruder is a Managing Partner of Red Ace Capital Management Opportunity Fund LP and oversees the integration of each vertical of the Red Ace Capital Management Opportunity Fund business. Austin has worked on over $45M in acquisitions, design, development, and construction. Through first hand knowledge and experience Austin lends his expertise to support the finance, entitlements, design, construction, and property management for each investment.
Austin holds a degree in Architecture from the Fay Jones School of Architecture and Design and is a third-generation architect in his family. In his spare time, he enjoys traveling with his friends and family, service work, and training for triathlons.
